If you want to run on dc you need to run at least a 8 gauge wire from your truck alternator to your positive post on your house battery. Then make sure to only use your DC while the truck is running. That DC on the fridge will kill your house battery in a couple hours. But like others have said run it on propane. Or if you want to solve the problem for ever get solar panels and a 12 volt danfoss style compressor fridge. JMHO
