Hi,
I have dual #8 wires with two charging paths and it is still not enough to keep the house battery fully charged.
Far better to run a small 400 watt inverter via the chassie and run a 120 volt cord to the RV.
Duty cycle on the fridge is 2:3 ("on" for 40 minutes per hour).

If you want to run on dc you need to run at least a 8 gauge wire from your truck alternator to your positive post on your house battery. Then make sure to only use your DC while the truck is running. That DC on the fridge will kill your house battery in a couple hours. But like others have said run it on propane. Or if you want to solve the problem for ever get solar panels and a 12 volt danfoss style compressor fridge. JMHO
