vacuum gauge
I have located a bolt on top of the intake manifold on the drivers side on my 454.I would like to install a vacuum gauge their.I know i would have to unscrew this bolt and attach some kind of fitting....

path1 I did the same thing as your father-in=law. The only disadvantage is that I have to look down a little so I put a pointer (black tape) at 10 in so I can glance at it and try to kept above the line. Joe I hooked mine into the intake manifold using a threaded fitting into the manifold and a barbed fitting for the hose to the vacuum gauge.
