It's a hoot when I think about how snobbish I was fifty years ago and now I need hearing aids. I'm wondering how accurate reproduction is of a standard mastoid receptor is to air versus mastoid bone stimulation via a 3.5mm pickup and pre-amp. Which would eliminate the air media part? Pre-amp to mastoid direct connection?
