One thing to keep in mind is the weight of the panel. My 125 watt panel weighs about 30 pounds
and is a bit of a chore getting it back on the side of my coach. I've been kicking around replacing it with a
flexible panel. Here's a link to one that I'm considering:

It's 180 watts and weighs 6.6 pounds. I'd have to add a frame to mount it on but it still would be quite light weight.

The issues they have with the the panel they tested should not be a problem for a vertical mounted panel.
