My CO dtetector reads 0 (zero)when held 6” above an operating Big Buddy on any setting. Is that because a catalytic heater is a catalytic reaction not combustion?
The same detector alarmed 5 minutes after I started my on board gasohol Onan without the Venturi stack in place one dead calm very light drizzle morning parked in the Cascade range in WA state. 5th wheel with the bedroom slide above and just the generator exhaust, and living area slide about 6ft behind it.
