Vinyl trim insert
Looks like the 1" vinyl trim insert (covering the screws holding the rubber roof down) needs to be replaced after 5 years. It's stiff & shrunken and lets water in allowing the screw heads to rust....

Screws rust because of capillary action and the acids produced by wood rot, not moisture under the trim pieces which are there for decorative reasons.... IOW screw heads are unsightly.
One foolproof way to tell is run a screw out and look at the threaded part. If it's rusty, the issue is underneath.
Well, I peeled back the vinyl trim a bit, and water came out and the space was filled with slime. As the vinyl trim is old and loose, I'm pretty sure that's my problem.
But when I replace the vinyl, I'll pull out a couple of screws to be sure.
