you have SIX of them in series to add up to 36v

Yes charge daily regardless of use. Lead-acid has no memory effect. At less than full charge they do sulfate so best to keep them tip top 100% charged when possible.

That did it. found the main pos. and the main neg battery and getting 38.3 volts. now i know where to connect the meter... thanks...

only use the thing around the property a few times a week. probably less than a mile the days I use it. guess will charge it 2 times a week to keep them up. thanks again for all the help. as usual I came to the right spot for the answers....

How do you think you will get 36V off one battery???
6 x 6.45V = 38.7, which is what you should get if you check at each end of the string.

I don't know of any batteries you drain. Surely not ones in a golf cart.

THESE BATTS ARE NOT LIKE some where u let them drain before u charge them so the don't get a memory and go bad faster???? ok to charge everyday???? never had a golf cart before so don't know much about them. thanks

its best to charge at the end of each days use ,the battteries will last for years with just a little care and check the water every couple months.
