Would this work? I have a 1 mil CP, 6 volt spotlight bulb. Will a simple voltage divider using a couple of 100 ohm resisters work from my 12 volt lighter recept. in the dash? Here is a better diagr...

s cheap as DC to DC "buckers" are on eBay, it would be a shame to heat up everything when pulse width modulation could soothe the savage beam...
