A voltage drop of 10 volts over just 60' of 10 gauge main service cable is excessive with just the A/C as a load and would suggest inadequate source wiring feeding the source box. For example, with an unloaded source input voltage of 115 vac and an assumed load of 15 amps you should see an average voltage drop of just 1.8 volts over 60' of 10 gauge main service cable.
