Voltage drop is a real issue for RV'ers. I've finally found a device that allows me to compensate for that.
I don't mind if you contribute to the thread but I'll ask that you keep on topic and not bring into question wiring that was done a professional and inspected by the power company.

That's funny, particularly since you obviously have a problem with this "properly installed" 30 amp service and don't even know it. :S
Perhaps the electrician that installed the service and receptacle was a little on the weak side. I would make sure all of the lugs are good and tight.
I am an electrician and a college graduate. I work with a lot of people that don't believe in calculations, but only do things by the seat of their pants. I know what things should be and if they aren't I start looking for reasons why.
