VR1 remodel

I own a 2007 310BHS camper. looking to renovate the inside. I removed the jack-sofa and the dinette from the large slide. after removing the carpet the slide out floor plywood is in great shape, one small damaged area by the back corner. was wondering if i can install 3/8 plywood over the existing floor from the inside on the slide? we plan on goin with 4 theater style recliners and just wanted to "beef it" up.. will the extra weight do more harm that good?

  • I would say yes. A sheet of 3/8 inch ply is not all that heavy. But before you do anything I would suggest you take care of the leak that caused the damage in the back corner.
