wailing water!
Well we got the water sytem cleaned out and everthing seems to work....exept when we run the hot water we get a strangled wailing sound! Air in the system? New cartridge/washer needed? Thanks all

Is it louder at the back of the water heater?
Often times the back flow preventer is noisy. It won't hurt anything - I never did anything about ours and I think it finally got more quiet or I just learned to ignore it!
