wailing water!
Well we got the water sytem cleaned out and everthing seems to work....exept when we run the hot water we get a strangled wailing sound! Air in the system? New cartridge/washer needed? Thanks all

We had the same issue with the back flow valve. It was emitting a high shrieking noise when the hot water tap(s)were opened. We replaced it and the problem was solved.
