When I installed the prosine 2.0 I thought about the worst-case scenario that could happen with those big wires connected to the prosine box. My reaction to that is (1) When parked at home, I disconnect the prosine-to-battery link, and (2) When camping, I shut off the charger and inverter when leaving the rig for more than a few minutes. Something bad could still happen, I'm just trying to minimize the possibility, and shutting things down might not be feasible for somebody else. I also shut off the water pump or city water when away. I'm even nervous letting the fridge run on gas while away, but that one I do anyway.
