Hi CA Traveler,
The sequence of the excursion is:
1. Magnum charging at 74 amps
2. roof air running using the "pass through" of the Magnum
3. I "shot" the temperature of the Magnum (41 C)
4. turned off the load sharing
5. turned off the generator
6. no fan running on the Magnum
7. went off to do chores
8. returned restarted generator
9. found Magnum not functional--red light on remote.
10. noticed soot on wall.
11. removed Magnum from the circuit.
So the overheating happened *after* shut down and *before* restarting.

Wondering when the problem occurred: before shutdown or after starting again.
