Warranty question for Yamaha generator owners.

I have a EF3000ISEB. I purchased it in March of 2013. Zero issues. My warranty is up in March 2016. Just got an email from Yamaha trying to sell me an extended warranty. Option most intereste...

My 3000 is starting it's 13th year. I've replaced the battery, spark plug and air cleaner one time each. I change the oil after every use and run all the gas out until it dies. I've never had a problem starting it even when the battery was dead.

The muffler is making a bit more noise than a new one but for $250 plus I'll wait awhile. I'm making a venturi pipe for it now.
