- pianotunaNomad IIIHi BFL13,
My 2500 watt does 2500 watts from any of three outlets. - BFL13Explorer IIPT, you are being too obscure for me. Who cares about 30a when all you get from the inverter is 15a from any individual receptacle? Unless like my Honda 3000i gen, it has a 23a receptacle as well as a couple of 15s?

If I were a 50 amp service 2 2k would work well--but I'm just 30 amps. - BFL13Explorer III don't have a clue about those things, but I would consider having a 2000w each on banks as suitable. Note that Can Tire has a rotating sequence of half-price sales each month on their collection of inverters and chargers.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi BFL,
Why 3000 watts? Because I have two induction burners. Each one draws up to 1800 watts. They can be operated at lower wattages, and I'll want to use both at the same time. One will go "full blast" the other at 1200 watts. - BFL13Explorer IIBut why 3000 vs 2000? Something was funny about those 120v outputs on the 3000 that was posted. Can't remember details, drat.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
All I know is that msw won't be good for the induction.BFL13 wrote:
What are the actual specs for input on the induction burners? Not familiar with those. - wa8yxmExplorer III

I was just going ask what PWM sine is.
PWM is Pulse Width Modulation, it is a way of making a modified sine wave. Works well for audio synthesizers, not so good for power inverters. - BFL13Explorer IIWhat are the actual specs for input on the induction burners? Not familiar with those.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi 2oldman and BFL13,
I'm looking to upgrade my inverter as I purchased some induction burners for cooking. I want to run two--hence 3000 watts and pure sine wave so as not to let out the magic blue smoke.
