Waste Valve Always CLOSED or Always OPEN?

2. ALWAYS LEAVE BOTH VALVES CLOSED AND DUMP WHEN THEY REACH 3/4 OR MORE
3. WHY? Because the Black WILL form a POOP pyramid and will be the dickens to get completely flushed out. The GRAY if left open will allow the various solids and pieces of gray water to get in the valve cavity where the seals are and then cause the valve knife to NOT close fully or cause stiff operation.
4. Go to a RV parts store and look over a dump valve and you will see what I am talking about.
5. Also that Black tank if left open, what does NOT form a Pyramid will allow a slow moving slime of water and **** to also migrate to that valve body
6. The PURPOSE of a RV system is to USE Chemicals to break down the solids and also make that Black tank smell a lot better. Doug
