Low gas pressure will cause it to flash back at the orifice.

Might have spider web in there.

While you are cleaning up the burner tube & orifice.....run a wire thru combustion chamber and out exhaust/tie a rag to it and then pull rag back thru to 'chimney sweep' combustion/exhaust

Just needs a little 'routine' maintenance (housekeeping)
