IOW- if everything is installed correctly, there shouldn't be a problem. Worst case- buy a new thermostat/eco assembly- under $20.
Thanks Chris, I went to a local dealer and found a new assembly for $15.00. The plastic washers were missing on the original unit. Some one probably removed them and lost them. The spring will hold under the tabs if the circumference is expanded, but it will eventually work out as it happened.
