Water heater
My new unit has a two way water heater, to use it on electric I have to go to the outside access door and turn on the switch. Can I just leave this switch in the on position and leave it there.

Yes you can, as long as you always have water heater full of water.
If you drain the WH, be very sure the switch is off first, or you will burn out the element.
