Water heater
My new unit has a two way water heater, to use it on electric I have to go to the outside access door and turn on the switch. Can I just leave this switch in the on position and leave it there.

I have a question..my water heater has a switch on the tank and one on the panel inside..if the switch inside is turned off then there should be no harm with the heater empty if the switch outside is left on..I ask because the camper I just purchased always had the outside switch on..and I am wondering if the element on mine is cooked..I have not used anything other then propane so far...
