water pump silencing kits - do they work
I have been wondering how to make water pump run more quietly; trying not to disturb sleeping dogs and spouse in middle of night when using on-board water tank. Have seen suggestions on this forum suc...

The small accumulator does more than just quiet the pump. The pump runs for a shorter period of time and does not turn on and off as frequently. This saves electricity and wear and tear on the pump. I think it also uses somewhat less water when you turn the faucet on really low. (Every so often, check the air pressure in the accumulator.)
