The bottom pan is one solid piece ( well it was before the tank crashed through it). Since the gas line and drainpipes are mounted through the bottom pan, very difficult to inspect the underneath,
This trip is getting worse. We were pulling out and got about 50 yards when I saw smoke coming from the right side tires. Thought maybe a brake wire broke or something. Turned out one of the leaf springs had snapped. Strapped up the axle and pulled into a vacant spot. Got the spring off and just hoping the leaf spring shop has a replacement. Looks like the kid will get to spend the afternoon in the pool while I make repairs.
