WFCO converter for lithium batteries

My camper has a 55amp WFCO power center. I see a module on their website to change it over for using with LiFe04 batteries. I expect the battery monitoring system in the “lead acid replacement” type lithium batteries will protect them from the charging sources (WFCO / Zamp solar) going crazy and wrecking them.

Has anyone got any experience using the WFCO lithium module?
  • Actually a knowledgeable friend of mine who has built their own rig that is all electric and solar/lithium powered says based on my rig’s electricity needs a conversion to lithium is a waste of money.
  • Someone might happen along who has done that. But I wouldn't hold my breath. I wouldn't spend a dime to save a WFCO converter. I would replace it with a better unit.
