Yes, the electrician did have a 2 pole 30 amp breaker, 240v, initially.
Now its 1 pole 120v.
So, knowing this, am I to assume the converter is fried? If so, are they hard to replace? I am pretty handy, so I'd prefer to do it myself to save money.
If indeed your trailer was plugged into a 240 vac source a fried converter may be the least of your problems and just the tip of the iceberg as far as costs go to repair the damage. You'll need to go through everything electrical as even just one short anywhere could cause the problems you're describing. I've personally seen trailers that have suffered thousands $$$$ in damage caused by this exact same mistake. :E If for no other reason this is exactly why every RV owner would benefit from using an EMS unit to protect their rig from source power errors.
