At the suggestion of a member I tested my converter with the following result: No shore power, no generator: 12.2VDC Shore power (110VAC) : 12.5VDC Generator power : 12.5VDC ...

Need to disconnect battery cable at converter and then test converter DC output
W/O Battery connected converter DC output S/B 13.2V DC MINIMUM and Steady
If lower then converter is failing
If 13.2V DC Min then need to test battery cell voltages and specific gravity
Numbers posted just indicate a low battery
And WFCO Converters FAIL routinely----NOT an internet myth
Have tested/replace several due to bad capacitors
Low quality junk
