Sorry, that is not the most cost-effect use of generator time for recharging batteries while dry camping.
Discharge to 50%, recharge (yes, that means they will recharge in BULK mode unless you indeed need to throw the converter in the garbage) to 85%, discharge to 50%, recharge to 85%.......
Once a week, indeed you do need to fully charge the batteries so they do not loose capacity.
Learned that "wet camping" on a sailboat for months at a time. The good news is that we ran out of groceries once a week anyway and went into a marina to both stock up on groceries AND fully charge the batteries.
