"Working"
Swiss Army Knife has been bookmarked in my laptop.
Raindar needs weather radar. I know they have weather radar 780 miles to the north at Guasave Sinaloa, but rain comes and it goes. Checking a hurricane tracking site might be more useful as the cellular system there is the last to go out except if there is no power.
How useful is the GPS? GPS is not really useful in Mexico unless a person doesn't mind driving up a wrong way street or off a cliff. But in the USA trying to find a doctor's office in a strange neighborhood can be frustrating. In order to get something that yells TURN HERE do I need to get a regular gizmo that clamps to the dashboard? Something simple. Type in an address and a map comes up on the screen...?
I usually carry a flashlight so this is no biggie. I also have a UV flashlight to find scorpions. They glow green just before they get real wide.
But then the cellular connection might be useful when trying to find out why my burro is braying at midnight.
