I have a lack of electrical knowledge so.......with a 30 amp rig, what effect will an electric heater have on my electrical capabilities? What else can be used at the same time? The box says 1500 ...

Iif you can run a hevy duty extension cord the the pedastal non.
If not you will have to do some power managemant you have to remember you only have 30amps
