Hello, we just upsized travel trailers and the new one has a 15000BTU AC unit on it.I am looking for a Generator that will allow us to run the AC. I'm not worried about running multiple items like Microwave and AC. I know to not do that. I am guessing a 3000 unit or dual 2000s should but really am not sure. Weight is an issue as to big and heavy for my old body to move around would make it a pain. (literally)Anyone that can offer some good advice/experience here is appreciated.

Your guess is correct 3K or maybe dual 2K's. The starting amp draw is the problem. 3K generators are heavy.
