I wouldn't get much battery for $25! I did get three meters in one: current in, current out, and voltage.
Ammeters (complete with shunt) seem to be one way only and fairly expensive on ebay. I did get ten voltmeters for about $10. It will be tempting to round up some one tenth ohm resistors for shunts and turn the voltmeters into Ammeters.
