What is this fuse and can I use a regular mini in its place?

I am looking for help with the fuse on the left in the photo. THis is my brake light fuse. I cant find anything online that tells me its any different than a regular mini fuse like the ones on the r...

In all my years have not seen a auto reset fuse use on brake lights. I'm thinking someone put it there. Maybe for a problem?? I'd put a regular atm 20 fuse and see if it blows. If it dose not leave the atm 20 fuse in and done.. If it blows fix whats doing it.
