If budget was of no concern, I would say Magnum Energy is the best inverter brand out there. I don't say that because we sell them, I say that because I personally use one in my racecar trailer and have seen/used most every inverter on the market over the past 10 years. Magnum's are awesome, but with that said though, you may not require an inverter like that and all it's features/capabilities. Are you lookng for just a straight pure sine inverter similar to the Xantrex you had? An inverter with a transfer switch like the SD model you linked to earlier or a full inverter/charger w/transfer switch?
There are many manufacturers out there to chose from, but a more important question I think would be, what are your needs?
