What's the common receptacle used for 240v Ranges

Not an RV question but my daughter is looking to replace her 240v electric stove/oven. I have not had an electric range in over 30 years. She said the receptacle in the wall now is for 3 prongs. ...

That's not a good indicator. There are all kinds of electrical and plumbing parts you can buy that are not to code.
