The recall if you have to wire the recall thru the main control board, will sometimes be done WRONG. There are 2 wires connected to the center of the control board after the black cover is installed. Those are the Rear Fan control wires. They are Whit and Black. IF they are reversed, the ONLY problem that will cause is---the rear cooling fans will not come on. If those fans are not operating the 1200 will NOT get cold enough. There is NO way to miswire the recall kit itself. Just inexperienced people that do not know where wiring goes after they do a shoddy repair. The 2- 120 elements. They either WORK or they do NOT. There is no partial operation of a refer 120 element. The problem you had was the rear fans were not operating until the good Tech found and fixed the problem. Doug
