I recently had an occasion to measure the bearing hubs on my 11,000 lb 5th wheel. This was done after about 100 miles and had allowed the trailer and truck to coast to a stop so the brake heat would not be a factor. I measured 98, 99.5, 101 and 106 with an ambient of about 85. This was with an infrared meter.
