When filling with water, most of it dumps out the side.

In my 1990 Winnebago Warrior, when you fill it with water, you just shove the end of the hose in a hole. About 1/2 the water coming out of the hose comes out around the hose and ends up on the grou...

Bingo! This works well, but, IMO the ball valve at the nozzle is junk. (it leaks) It helps to be able to shut off the water flow (mostly) at the nozzle instead of the spigot if you don't want to make unnecessary trips and/or get water all over the place when you fill the fresh water tank.
