Bingo! This works well, but, IMO the ball valve at the nozzle is junk. (it leaks) It helps to be able to shut off the water flow (mostly) at the nozzle instead of the spigot if you don't want to make unnecessary trips and/or get water all over the place when you fill the fresh water tank.

Yep. Amazing how simple to resolve the backflow. :)
I find the ball valve works well enough to stop the flow at the nozzle so I can casually turn off the main valve at the faucet after filling. Then I open the ball valve and let the hose drain.
