When installing new backing plates
When installing new brakes and backing plates does it matter which way the wires are connected , since both are the same color

Simple power in...power out so wires connect either way
Just make sure you have GOOD/SOLID connections and they are 'sealed' to protect from corrorsion - No. The magnet is isolated from the chassis ground system. Doug
