- KpackpackkelleyExplorer III used to have a marquis 7000 which is a lot like the bge. The carb would sweat bad here in Bryan Tx , I had to run it with the heat lever on a little bit all the time , I guessed the humidity.
- maillemakerExplorerYup, I found the service manual online. Evidently there is a fitting underneath the noise shield on top of the genset. So I have to remove the shield to plug it back in.
Fortunately I'm in the south so it probably is never really cold enough for it to have to pull air in from the heat source.
Steve - KpackpackkelleyExplorer IIBeen awhile since I’ve been in a bge but theirs a black round bracket by the manifold that it fits in. It’s for winter heat or to bring warm air through the carb when it’s cold , you use the lever on front of the air filter housing to control the heat off the manifold.
