which inverter and why? 3000 watt pure sine wave

I maintain a couple of 3kw sine wave systems- both Xantrex (an RS3000 and a Freedom SW3000). Both have given reasonable service in much harder use than most would give (clothes steamers, curling irons, regular irons, computers, blow driers, etc.). I actually drew over 3500 watts from the RS3000 while I was stress testing- did not fault or overheat.
I really think Xantrex is as good as Magnum, but Magnum is reportedly a much better company to deal with.
