which inverter and why? 3000 watt pure sine wave
Hi, I'm considering upgrading the MSW 2500 watt inverter. Which 3000 watt (12 volt input) inverter would you pick and why?

PT I got lost again. Since you have specific loads, none of which
cannot be run with 2500w, why do you need a new 3000w job? Why can't you get a PSW (if needed) 1000w (Xantrex) from Can Tire next time they come on sale and add that to the battery bank, and split up the various loads among your two inverters. ASSumes the Cobra still has a long life ahead of it.
I have a 1000w inverter that does the whole house TV/DVD, laptop, cell phone, etc (could have got a 300w for that , but the 1000w was on sale)
Meanwhile I have the 2000w inverter dedicated to the MW, toaster, and kettle. (Actually the toaster and kettle can run on the 1000w, but I don't to keep it simple as wired in)
I can operate both inverters at the same time for a total of 3000w on the four 6s no sweat, as when running the MW while watching TV/dvd.
Why can't you organize things so you can keep your Cobra for the big things and use a smaller, second inverter for the little things?
