which inverter and why? 3000 watt pure sine wave

If you decide to purchase an inverter, do a lot of shopping on the internet. I just replaced my 3000PSW Xantrex, it had a fault code that I could not reset, I replaced it with a Magnum 2812 PSW a few days ago., I purchased it on line from imarine, at a price well below any others. I also had to replace the remote inside the Coach. I have 4-8D Lifeline Batteries, 255Amps each.
I still have the Xantrex, and the remote, not sure if it can be repaired or not, have not checked with anyone, but would be will to let it go for the right price.
