That is your problem! You must have a charger that can do 14.6ish volts or more to get anything done at all in your 90 minute window.
14.8v at 25C/77F, which is the spec for many battery types to be charged at, is 15.2v at 5C/35F in the cold. Most converters won't help with that, so 14.8 is better than 14.6 if no temperature compensation.
That is the beauty of an adjustable voltage charger. You can set it to the right voltage for the situation.
This one is your answer. The LK model. (not the other models!) 60 amps is enough for your two batts and it has adjustable voltage (little screwdriver in the right hand side hole to adjust the pot) so you are golden. It also works as a regular three-stage automatic converter by using the switch in the left-hand side hole. Very nifty! :) And the price is right.
