At the moment this is what I am building to recharge two batteries at a sustained 68-ameres each. Generator run-time with this exercise is also critical. Sixty amperes is greater than maximum charge acceptance* of a pair of flooded group 31 batteries, or a series pair of GC220 3-cell golf car batteries (2x 68 or 146 amperes).
*Apply max "I" saturation charge to achieve 14.8 volts maintained instantly to a discharged battery.
For minimum possible battery recharging it is fundamentally important to know the maximum charge acceptance (ampacity) of the battery (single or multiples).
