Whirlpool Side by Side residential fridge Problem

Thanks for the replies, I misspoke on the style fridge it is. It is the one with the freezer in a bottom drawer, the ice maker is located in the top left section of the fridge. It has the water or ice dispenser in the door. The unit is 17 mo old, and works great until outside temps get hot during the summer.

I have not checked the freon level. It sounds like the heater may be acting up.
