I have not checked the freon level. It sounds like the heater may be acting up.
Yes, this type cools different from a side by side. The Icemaker has its own Extreme Cold feed for 0 degree freezing of water. I would indeed suspect the Icemaker assbly as the Heat Source because IF it heats up and melts the ice, that heat will degrade the fridge temp next to it. Doug
