who dry camps with residential fridge?
I'm thinking about replacing my rv fridge with a residential model, mine is going on 12 years and still works but I go to AZ a lot in 100+ degree weather, I mostly stay with full hookups but 3-5 times...

I've been looking at the frigidaire Model FFET1022QB its energy star rated and perfect size replacement for what I have, I read somewhere you can modify the defrost timer circuit and add a switch to turn it off/on manually which can save on power usage as well, it is one of the more expensive "10 cu ft models" closer to $500 vs closer to $300 and again one of the few energy star rated ones, there is definetley room for more insulation in the cabinet for sides,back and top and maybe a couple computer fans at the bottom venting over the coils.
